Canary Rockfish is a bright-colored marine fish. The binomial name of this fish is Sebastes pinniger. The scientific name of the fish is given by an American mammologist and malacologist T.N Gill.
The body colour of these fishes are quite vibrant; it has an orange-yellow body with several orange patterns across its body. A little white and grey colour could also be seen near its head.
While spending their underwater time; these fishes are found in shallow waters and go deeper when they get mature.
These fishes are endemic to the waters of Northern Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Alaska and near the Baja California region.
