Rock Crab belongs to the family Cancridae and is also known as Cancer Productus. It is mostly found in the areas of the North America. It has ten legs and preys small animals such as oysters, abalone, clams, snails and more.
The habitat of the Rock Crabs is the reef type habitat, coastal areas and bays.
It is a popular catch for commercial and sports fishers in the California waters and is further categories of three species – the yellow rock crab, the brown rock crab and the red rock crab.
